Brentford reject Man Utd’s new £62.5m Mbeumo bid

Brentford FC has rejected a new £62.5 million bid from Manchester United for their star forward Bryan Mbeumo. The Premier League giants had previously made an offer of £50 million for the French winger but it was also turned down by the Championship side.

Brentford’s manager Thomas Frank has been firm in his stance that Mbeumo is not for sale and sees him as a key player in their push for promotion to the Premier League. The 22-year-old has been in excellent form this season, scoring 12 goals and providing 6 assists in the league.

Manchester United are believed to be keen on bolstering their attacking options and see Mbeumo as a potential long-term solution. However, Brentford’s valuation of the player is significantly higher than what the Red Devils are willing to pay.

Despite the rejection of their latest bid, Manchester United are reportedly still interested in Mbeumo and could come back with an improved offer in the summer transfer window. Brentford, on the other hand, are determined to hold on to their prized asset.

It remains to be seen whether a compromise can be reached between the two clubs or if Mbeumo will stay put at Brentford for the foreseeable future. Fans of both sides will be eagerly watching how this transfer saga unfolds in the coming months.

In the meantime, Brentford will be focused on finishing the season strongly and securing promotion to the Premier League, while Manchester United will continue their pursuit of reinforcements to bolster their squad for next season.
